... <p>Rene & Angela were an R&B duo formed by singers, musicians, songwriters and producers Rene Moore and Angela Winbush in 1977. Hailing from Los Angeles, the duo recorded their first three albums for Capitol Records including their hit singles, "I Love You More", "Bangin' the Boogie", and "My First Love". In 1985, Rene & Angela recorded their fourth and final album Street Named Desire on Mercury Records. It includede their hit singles, "You Don't Have to Cry", "Save Your Love (For #1)", 'I'll Bee Good", and the number one hit, "Your Smile". The following year Rene & Angela broke up and went on to work on their solo careers. Rene Moore released his solo album in 1988 while writing songs for Michael Jackson and other artists. Angela Winbush recorded three more albums during the 80's and 90's including "It's The Real Thing", "Angel", "Run to Me", and "Treat U Rite" while working as a songwriter and producer. Their story was featured on TV One's Unsung in 2010.
